While waiting, take a moment to tune in to the body. This will help ease anxiety around waiting, and give you some bonus time to re-boost your focus and calm.
Begin by noticing your feet. What part of the feet come in to contact with the ground. Perhaps lift your toes and place them back down on the ground.
Next notice your legs. Straighten the legs then bend slightly in the knees. Just notice.
Now observe your shoulders and with an exhale pull the shoulders down away from your ears. Notice a sense of calm.
Finally, notice your hands. Make a fist, then release. Take a final breath in and out.
To end your practice notice the jaw. With another long breath out release any tension in the jaw. Ahhh.
Stand tall and notice.
