While Driving

Next time you are driving, whether you are at a stop light or driving for a long distance, take a moment to be mindful of the action of driving. 

Feel the texture of the steering wheel beneath the palms of your hands. Notice your sit bones and your back against your chair. Take a full breath in. Pause and notice. Exhale fully. Observe your mind quiet and your need for distraction to calm. Return to your senses and allow them to direct you to full presence in the motions of driving.
