Stand tall with both feet planted firmly on the ground. Notice the points of contact your feet have to the ground. Breathe in and notice how you stand even taller. Exhale, drop the shoulders down along the back, allowing any excess stress to exit the body with your breath.

Now, keeping your balance, but taking your time, lift one leg off the ground. Bring your foot towards the other leg and place it gentle against the calf or inner top part of the thigh.

To avoid injuring the body do not place the foot directly onto the opposite knee.

Balance on the standing leg and if you’d like bring your arms up above you towards the sky. Breathe in, breathe out. Notice your Balance.

Stay here for as long as you’d like.

Remember if you lose balance, simply take a few breaths to re-balance again. Repeat with the other leg.
