Surrender is not about giving up, but rather surrendering to what is. There is great power in this.
Next time you experience a personal injury or a challenge, lean into the experience. Notice what you feel, what are your thoughts, what are the sensations in the body. We can allow an experience to move through us this way instead of getting stuck.
Looking at a situation or experience for what it is, and not the way we want it to be, can be challenging. Seeing things for what they are, can be freeing. You may find that this leaves space to seek positive changes and to move on from a particular situation.
Notice the situation with which you are struggling. Notice the thoughts and the feelings that come up. Pay attention to the physical reactions in the body. Now, without trying to change these things, just notice.
