Sit on a cushion on the floor, or on a chair, in a comfortable way. Take a breath in, pause, now exhale all the way until you feel empty. Continue breathing in this way as you pay attention to your neck. That’s right, notice if there is any tension stored in any part of your neck. Move it side to side, in a “no” fashion. Then perhaps begin to roll it gently from side to side in a semi-circle. Pause at any particular point that your neck needs more attention. Move in a way that feels right for you today. Continue moving and breathing for as long as feels right for you today.
