Movement for Energy

To begin this practice, stand tall. Bring your arms down to your sides. Inhale and take a long breath out. 

On the next inhale, bring your arms above you head in a large circular motion. At the top of your inhale with your arms extended straight above you. Pause. 

With your exhale, release your breath with an audible, “ahhhh” while bending the knees to release your arms in front of you in a brisk, energetic motion. 

(To modify sit tall in a chair, with your feet on the floor).
