Calm Place

Imagine for a moment a place you can go to in your mind that is completely calm and safe. It can be real or imagined. If it includes a real place, or other people, make sure they have  only positive associations. If you’d like, close your eyes. Visualize a scene that instills a place of calm. Visualize this place in detail, and notice every sight, sound, and feeling in the body. Notice the sensations in the body. Transport yourself there with your mind and notice a sense of calm envelope you. 

Repeat as many times throughout the day to restore your mind and body to a place of calm.
