Book a session or a workshop

I conduct trainings and workshops for healthcare professionals on integrating these exercises into your professional life for both self-care and for use with clients. I offer training and guidance for integrating trauma informed practices in the delivery of medical treatment and practice. Finally, I will set up a “tranquility room” in your facility or office to create a space where your staff or clients can go to use the tranquility website and AR headsets for a few moments of calm throughout the day. This will help create an environment of self care and active rest and will help regulate the nervous system to let go of vicarious trauma and stress and help prevent burnout.

I also see clients for individual sessions and focus my clinical work on using EMDR, (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), visualization, somatic processing, mindfulness, trauma sensitive yoga, and brain rewiring to heal one’s trauma and one’s connection to the body, their purpose, their loved ones and the present moment.

Yvette believes the key to wellness and health is  connecting to the body and the breath in order to connect the present moment. Presence allows you connect to the world around you and  experience the full beauty of the moment. It allows you to efficiently regulate the nervous system and ride the waves of emotion that come with life’s ups and downs. The exercises in this website are a compilation of the work Yvette has developed over 10 years of clinical practice, evidence based practices, as well as inspiration from poets, writers and healers.
