Before choosing

Using mindfulness before a decision can help you tune in to the thoughts and body sensations that give you clues as to how you feel about a decision. Tuning in to these can assist in you going in the direction that is most authentic for you. 

Take time to consider as you think about a particular decision: What are you feeling in the body? Notice your thoughts and notice the sensations they create in the body. Are they calming? Do you feel nervous or anxious? Remember nerves may mean go for it or they may mean wait and reconsider. What are your sensations communicating to you? Notice.
