Visualization is about finding tranquility throughout the day both by learning to evoke calming experiences or thoughts as well as using this page to experience the restorative world of nature. Being present with nature can calm the nervous system, slow stressful thoughts and bring you to find a renewed calm and focus. 

Stream nature sounds in the background as you go about your day, or visualize the place as you absorb the sounds for a 30 seconds to 2-3 minutes. Experiencing nature in this way will quickly bring a sense of clam and focus.

Imagine for a moment a place you can go to in your mind that is completely calm and safe. Transport yourself there. (60 sec)

 Once a day, pay attention to the goal you are working towards and for a moment, and visualize yourself accomplishing this goal.

Picture the last time you were with friends or family and you lost yourself in laughter. Hear the expression of laughter and how it affects your entire body.

 Feel the light wash over you  and let go of the events and thoughts of the day. Inhale light, exhale. (60 sec)

Allow yourself to be lulled to a place of calm and tranquility with the sounds of the birds calling. Take 30 seconds to close your eyes and listen to the sounds.

Notice the stars’ light as they twinkle. Allow yourself to be filled with child-like delight and wonder as you notice the stillness and amazement of the night sky. 

Soothing rainforest

The sounds of crickets can evoke a sense of safety and wonder. Allow yourself to be transported there. 

Frogs

Notice the delight that comes with the jubilant sounds of frogs singing in the night. 

Songbirds

Morning songbirds can enliven the senses and help set the scene for a tranquil day. 

River

One can never step into the same river twice, it is constantly moving. Tune in to the flow of things by tuning in to the sounds of the river. 

Rain

Rain is replenishing and gives growth to new life. Notice the sound of rain wash away stress.
